Is it really free?

Yes, for files up to 2 GB and for as many conversions as you need. There is no trial that quietly ends and no watermark on the result.

Do I have to create an account?

No. Nothing on this page asks who you are. Sign-in exists only for people who want a longer history across devices, and it is entirely optional.

How long do you keep my files?

One hour from the moment they are converted. You can delete anything sooner with the cross beside it.

Will the quality drop?

Only where the target format forces it. Converting PNG to JPG means lossy compression by definition, but nothing is re-encoded twice and no quality is thrown away needlessly.

Can I convert several files at once?

Drop up to twenty together and pick one target format — the whole batch goes through and each result appears separately.

Which format should I pick?

If you are unsure: PDF for anything that has to look identical everywhere, PNG for graphics with sharp edges, JPG for photographs, MP4 for video.
